In English, the children have been reading Charlie and the Chocolate factory and using it to create newspaper reports, diary entries and even persuasive adverts. 

In Maths, the children have been learning about fractions, recapping on place value, understanding the properties of shape, recognising angles and even exploring statistics!

As scientists, children have been learning about plants.  They have planted sunflower seeds and observed if they would grow under different conditions, such as without light or access to fresh air.
