Year 5 had an exciting visitor in school this week who brought along a fantastic STEM challenge. We were set the task of designing and building our very own fairground rides using K'NEX!

Working in pairs, we explored how to use different components to create moving parts, add stability, and make our designs stand out. Everyone showed amazing teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills. From Ferris wheels to spinning rides, our classroom was soon filled with imaginative and impressive creations.

The challenge not only tested our engineering skills but also helped us practise communication and collaboration. It was a great opportunity to learn in a hands-on and engaging way.
