  • Summer

We have a busy and exciting term ahead. You can find all about our learning this term in our Summer Curriculum Newsletter which can be found by clicking here.

We are looking forward to our trip to Hunstanton Sea Life Centre. Keep an eye out for photos of our trip!

    DT

Sapphire class have designed and created a puppet as part of their DT day. They practised ways of joining fabric by using pins, staples and glue. They then evaluated the best method of joining fabrics, before creating their own puppet.

    Science

Sapphire class have been on a plant hunt around the school grounds. They have searched for plants growing in strange places, plants that smell, plants with many leaves, and more.

The children have been planting cress and sunflower seeds. They will be observing their growth over time.

    Math

In maths, the children have been using the Numicon to add equal groups. They have also begun learning about fractions, and they have worked hard to find half of different shapes.

History: As part of our topic of castles, the children have been creating their own versions of a 'Motte and Bailey' 'Stone keep' and 'Concentric' castles using lego.
