With the new year came a new book within our writing lessons. This term we have been exploring the story of The Firework Makers Daughter in which the children have been following a journey of a young girl called Lila who wants to be a Firework Maker just like her dad. The children have enjoyed stepping into Lila's shoes and creating letters and diary entries about her journey.
